HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (June 5, 2014) – Terry Fator, Las Vegas headliner and multi-talented ventriloquist, comedian, celebrity impressionist and singer, will set the stage for fun and entertainment at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m.
Terry Fator burst onto the national scene after winning “America’s Got Talent” in 2007, after combining his talents of ventriloquism and singing. He does more than 100 impressions as a ventriloquist and is especially known for making his ventriloquist dolls sing in famous celebrity voices. Fator implements at least seven puppets into each show. Walter T. Airdale, his country music puppet and the one he has been using the longest often impersonates country music legend Garth Brooks. Maynard Thompkin, an Elvis impersonating puppet, doesn’t know any Elvis songs, but is sure to keep the audience laughing. Vikki the Cougar puppet is an older female singer who prefers the company of younger men. One of Fator's most famous puppets, Monte Carlo, is the resident Vegas lounge singer who often impersonates icons such as Tony Bennett. Fator is constantly creating new characters with his puppets, leaving his show fresh and funny year after year.
A native of Texas, Factor spent over 20 years on the road performing at everything from schools to county fairs before becoming a Vegas headliner. At 10 years old, Fator happened upon a book on ventriloquism at the library. He learned the craft quickly, practicing for hours while working at his family’s cleaning business. His first gig was a performance on Dallas television show “Peppermint Place” when he was only in the sixth grade. Fator became a lead singer in the late eighties with his band Freedom Jam, which performed three times a day as a routine.
