CHAMPPS IN FT. LAUDERDALE, FL TO HOST BENEFIT FOR
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL (April 2015) – Champps, located at 6401 North Andrews Avenue in Ft. Lauderdale, will host a celebration to support March of Dimes on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
The party will be held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., where guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary sampling of Champps’ signature dishes, including Harvest Chopped Salad, Chipotle BBQ Burger, Pepper Seared Ahi Tuna Tacos. Spinach-Artichoke Dip and Calamari Fritti.
Featured signature cocktails include Grand Sangria, Island Rum Punch and Champps Long Island Tea for $4 each; draft beer will be available for $2 each.
Champps will donate 10% of sales for the entire day and night of Thursday, May 7 to March of Dimes, which shares the best practices in perinatal health and helps improve birth outcomes where the needs are the most urgent.
You can run or walk in the 6th Annual 5K on A1A benefitting Covenant House Florida Saturday, May 17th. And you'll help raise funds to help serve runaway, homeless and at risk youth under 21 including teen parents and their babies.

Support The LIttel Dreams Foundation on Sunday, May 17, 2015, Orianne & Phil Collin’s Little Dreams Foundation will host Brunch on the Beach at Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami Beach, FL from 11am-2pm. Scheduled to attend is famed, Phil Collins, among other celebrities and musical personalities. The performance is hosted by LDF kids, sound technologist David Frangioni, and the band What You Know, featuring the son of Phil Collins, Nicholas Collins. Proceeds of the brunch will support Young talents Class of 2015-16.

Concert and Fireworks (5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at BB&T Center, One Panther Parkway) There's something for everyone, including children's rides and inflatables, and an assortment of food and beverage vendors. The evening's live music lineup starts at 6:00 p.m. and includes two of the most popular bands of 1980s: A Flock of Seagulls and headliner the Fixx.
